Welcome to my website! I teach in the Social Studies department here at Xavier High School and love every minute of it.  I currently teach Freshman World Civilization as well as both of the Sophomore elective classes, Social Issues (1st semester) and The World Today (2nd semester). 

Even though I have only been teaching at Xavier for three years, I have been a Xavier Saint for seven years as I graduated from Xavier in 2004.  Following my high school years at Xavier, I attended Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota and received a BA in Social Science Secondary Education with a minor in Psychology and Sociology.

My husband, Josh, and I are expecting our first child in March and we are very excited to become part of the parenting club.  We love attending Iowa Hawkeye sporting events when our schedules permit us to and also like supporting the Xavier Saints whether it be on the field, the court, or the stage.
